LizzyTeachAI ("LizzyTeachAI," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Forest Park AI LLC, a company based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use www.lizzyteachai.com and our related services (the "Service"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us directly

  • Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and any name you provide. Authentication is handled through our provider, Supabase.
  • Payment information. When you purchase a plan, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number — Stripe handles that. We do receive limited billing details such as your plan, transaction status, and the email tied to the purchase.
  • Learning activity. As you use the Service, we store your progress, such as which lessons you've completed, notes you save, and other inputs you enter into lessons.
  • Survey and form responses. If you complete a survey (for example, after the free lessons) or submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide.
  • Messages to Ask-Lizzy. If you use our in-app chat assistant, we process the messages you send in order to generate a response (see Section 4).

Information we collect automatically

  • Usage and device data. We may collect information such as your browser type, device, general location derived from your IP address, pages viewed, and interactions with the Service.
  • Cookies and local storage. We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and operate the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work without them.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including tracking your lesson progress;
  • process payments and manage your subscription or purchase;
  • send you transactional messages (such as account, receipt, and support emails) and, where you've opted in, marketing and educational emails;
  • respond to your questions and provide support;
  • improve and develop the Service;
  • protect the Service, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, and only as needed:

  • Supabase — account authentication and database hosting.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • MailerLite — email delivery and list management.
  • Resend — transactional and notification emails.
  • Vercel — website and application hosting.
  • AI provider(s) — processing Ask-Lizzy chat messages to generate responses.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition).

4. AI features

The Service includes AI-powered features, including the Ask-Lizzy chat assistant and lesson content. When you interact with Ask-Lizzy, your messages are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate a response. Please don't share sensitive personal information (such as financial account numbers, health information, or government IDs) in the chat. AI-generated responses are for educational purposes and may not always be accurate — see our Terms of Service for more.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Access and update. You can view and update your account information by signing in.
  • Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email. We'll still send you essential transactional messages related to your account.
  • Deletion and other requests. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address in Section 10.

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccuracies, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To exercise any of these, contact us and we'll respond as required by applicable law.

7. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are between 13 and 18, you should use the Service only with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or your school or institution. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
